Therese Fuller, Principal of ThinkSmart Consulting

For more than 25 years, Therese has helped business work smarter.

Therese’s sound theoretical knowledge is complemented by her high-level business experience. She has held senior HR roles at Hawker De Havilland and Unilever and managed businesses including IIR, then the world’s largest privately owned training and development and conference provider.

As Head of Learning and Development at St George Bank, she guided her division through a major transformation, from simple training department to a dynamic, strategically relevant organisational development unit crucial to the company’s emergence as the fifth force in banking in Australia.

This line-management experience, including overseeing large budgets, dealing with long-term corporate challenges and building sustainable organisational processes, has given her a commercial acumen rare among her peers.

As a consultant, Therese has provided strategic guidance to Top 100 companies from many different industry sectors.

Committed to ongoing professional development, Therese has a Bachelor of Arts degree, a Graduate Diploma in Organisational Change and Development, a Graduate Diploma in Employment Relations, a Masters in Business, and is among Australia’s first cohort earning a Graduate Diploma in the NeuroScience of Leadership, a fascinating new discipline focused on developments in neuroscience and how they inform leadership practices and organisational behaviour. The Australian Graduate School of Management has utilised her expertise as a tutor in management skills for its Executive MBA program.

She is a member of the Australian Institute of Management, the International Association of Facilitators, the Society for Organisational Learning and the American Society of Training and Development. Therese is a Master Practitioner in Neurosemantics and is accredited in the key professional instruments, including the Herrmann Brain Dominance Instrument, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, Benchmarks 360˚ Profiling and the Emotional Competence Inventory.

 

Margo Droulers, Consultant, ThinkSmart Consulting

Margo draws on more than two decades of experience in her consulting work, where she specialises in the areas of performance and change. She has worked with a wide range of corporate, professional services, government and social sector organisations, at all organisational levels, helping leaders and their teams improve systemic and individual performance.

Executive coaching is a particular area of expertise for Margo. She works with executives and their leadership teams across a broad range of companies providing one on one and team coaching to build skill and improve performance. The focus is on working with clients to develop and build their own solutions to improve personal and organisational effectiveness, through self insight targeted goal setting, action and reflection.

Margo’s clients have included Telstra, Sensis, Westpac, St George Bank, CBA, Barclays, Macquarie University, AGSM, Bluescope Steel, Serco Asia Pacific and Medecins Sans Frontieres.  Margo has a Bachelor of Arts degree, a Graduate Diploma in Adult Education and a Masters degree in Organisational Coaching and is qualified in all key HR tools, including HBDI and MBTI. She is a member of the Australian Institute of Management, the International Coaching Federation, the Society for Organisational Learning and the Australian Psychological Society.

 

Carolyn Butcher, Consultant, ThinkSmart Consulting

For more than two decades Carolyn has used her broad-ranging qualifications and skill set to bring value to a diverse range of businesses, both as an in-house executive and as a consultant. Her roles include Manager HR Strategic Projects at RailCorp, where she built leadership capabilities and drove cultural change for 1,500 senior and middle managers. As HR Director with contract services organisation Delaware North (Aust/NZ) she gained invaluable insight into industrial relations by negotiating new IR agreements, and as GM Employee Relations at Qantas, her teams delivered programs for a workforce of 34,000.

Carolyn has a Bachelor of Arts degree, a Masters in Business, Graduate Diplomas in Employment Relations and Company Directorship (as well as rehabilitation Counselling) and an Industrial Law Certificate. She is a Registered Psychologist, a member of the Australian Human Resources Institute and the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and an Executive Council Member of the NSW Employers First Association.

 

Diane Lamont, Consultant, ThinkSmart Consulting

Diane is a skilled consultant and trainer, currently based in Australia after 8 years living and working in Europe. Her background is in organisational development, front line business and relationship management and business development on a global platform.

Diane has held senior Learning and Development roles in blue-chip global companies based in Australia, UK and Europe over the past 14 years. She specialises in the areas of client and business development, performance improvement, organisational development and talent management. Previously a Personal Banker, Diane also held a number of senior leadership roles within large financial institutions and ran her own performance improvement consultancy.

Her clients have included ABN AMRO, Goldman Sachs, Swift, Euronext, Merrill Lynch, Ernst & Young, J.P. Morgan, Deutsche Bank, ASX, Shell, Flowserve, Novozymes, Lucent Technology, Cisco, Boston Scientific, DHL, Alexander Forbes, Marsh and McLennan, JLT and Tessenderlo.

Diane holds a Masters degree in Individual & Organisational Development and a Diploma in Business. She is a qualified Executive Business Coach and is also MBTI accredited.

 

As needed, ThinkSmart also calls upon other trusted, experienced and effective consultants, each offering specialised skills, depending on the nature of the project.
